This website published by Eric
Eales. He lives in Kelowna, British Columbia, with his wife Cate and the
family poundhound, Sandy.

He
played
lead with Team Canada Torino gold medallists Gerry Austgarden and
Sonja Gaudet through the 2004/5 season, and promoted the first ever
International Wheelchair Cashspiel, March 2005 in Kelowna. He is a
qualified NCCP Level 1 and a Technical Level 2 coach.
He now devotes his energies to expanding
grassroots participation in the sport and despairs that present policies
in Canada are inhibiting the prospect of wheelchair curling becoming a
popular winter recreation.
He writes a regular column for
Sweep Magazine and also publishes an
email newsletter that
is circulated to more than 500 curlers,
coaches, administrators and people interested in wheelchair curling
world-wide. You can now receive wheelchair curling news through this
site's RSS feed.
