The "Sweepless in Kelowna" Wheelchair Bonspiel (October 15-16, 2005) featured two teams from Alberta as well as teams from BC's lower mainland and the Okanagan. They were joined for this photo by Team Russia and Kelowna's own, Team Kelly Scott who are now the 2006 Scott Tournament Of Hearts Champions and the 2006/7 Team Canada

Saturday saw a pairs tournament, each team playing four one-hour, four-end games: 10 points for a win, 5 for a tie and one point for each end won and each point scored. Pool winners were Brian MacDonald and Bob MacDonald in Pool A and Darryl Neighbour and Vince Miele in Pool B. A tie in their playoff game meant they shared the prize of some fine Okanagan wine.

The Bonspiel concluded Sunday afternoon with a four team round robin. Team Okanagan, skipped by Ron Vaselenak, took the deciding game. His last rock run-back of a rock barely over the hogline, stole one in the 6th and final end, to beat Brian MacDonald's Lower Mainland team 4 - 3.
